JP's 18 months

You know JP, one of my babies, my cousin, Miss Belle's best friend, and makes frequent appearances on my blog?

I absolutly LOVE this little guy, from way befor he was born. 

Plus he has some pretty awesome parents :)

 We went to the butterfly show and yesterday for Julia's birthday he came with us to have a picnic at the park. I decided to squeeze in a little photo-shoot to finish out his 18 month pictures.

 Fishing is always a big thing in my family. I think JP is a natural, he knew just what to do....

 I love it when kids make up their own poses! I call this the come get me ladies pose.....

After getting back home I thought about all the picture sessions I have done with JP and I wanted to do something special :

 

I want rainbows

 Today The Julia is turning 7! She asked me if this year we could have rainbows in her birthday pictures. I told her I will figure out a way. But had no clue how I could do that.....

Then it came to me, a candy store! there is all kinds of colors at the candy store! So off we went camera and all....

 Julia has grown up so fast! she is outgoing and strong willed. she has such a personality and everyone can't help but fall in love with. She's smart! she sees through every trick or white lie anyone tells her. She's funny and creative. She meets friends everywhere we go and has the memory of an elephant! She's beautiful and has a big heart. She wants to be a fashion designer or a teacher or a nurse or a singer, she can never make up her mind! I tell her all the time that I wish I was more like her sometimes. I am a fallower and sometimes feel like people walk all over me but Never The Julia! She stands up for her self and is confident . I love her!

Zoo

Yesterday we spend the day at the Zoo! (told you a real trip to the zoo was coming)

                        After a few posed pictures the Girls took off! They were super excited!!!

  we decorated Belle's nursery in Monkeys so go figure her favorite part of the Zoo was all the monkeys:

 Then it was time to see the other animals and she gave me her evil face.........

 She always makes these faces at people for random reasons but I have found if you give her a look back she always cracks a smile. She's really the biggest sweetheart I swear!

 It was nap time......

 So I put her in the stroller and we walked to the playground and let Julia play until Daddy got off work and met us at the train station.

 Then it was off to get Julia's award for being on Honor Roll all year long! The Cincinnati Bengals players were there to pass out awards and take pictures.

 Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you for working so hard!

 O yeah and of course I had to find a good place for another Pregnancy picture.... Julia's getting really good at photography :)

knots of love

Julia and I have been working on about one or two art projects a week now. It's been one of her favorite things to do and I have fun looking up new ideas and spending real quality one on one time with her.

Last week we worked on a plague. First we found a word we liked, printed it out and taped the paper to a board. Then at every corner we hammered a nail.

 After all the nails were in place we ripped the paper off.

 This part was tricky. Julia tied a knot on one nail and then began wrapping the string around all the nails to form the letters. (the string kept wanting to slip off the nails so we had to pull tight.)

 I haven't quite found the perfect home for our new plague but really you could but LOVE in any room......... yeah that was cheesy lol

Groceries

Your remember the story about how I met my husband?  It just seems so random to me and I often think about how different things would have been if one thing didn't fall into place the way it did that day. 

What if He went to a different store? what if I wasn't working that day? What if He had asked someone else to help him? What if? what if? what if?
