"I am getting married in three months and need a photographer. oh and your brother is in my wedding!"
what!?!
I get to spend the day with my super hero brother and take pictures of two people crazy in love!
of course I said yes!
and I am so glad I did it was such a fun wedding filled with lots of love and laugh and just fun times.
after the wedding these two took off to start their life together on a base while Alex starts his career in the Navy.
I wish them all the luck and pray that they continue to laugh through hard times and always look at each other with so much respect and love.
It was an honor and so much fun to capture your day.
Plus my family thanks you for giving my brother another chance to come home to visit us! enjoy your slide show!!!

Scarecrow

So if you have been reading my blog for a while or if you just know me at all you know I HATE THE COLD! summer is my favorite season by far!
but something about the colors in the trees and how we seem to be having more warmer temps and sunny sunny days I am starting to really come around to the fall.

yes that's a laundry basket. believe it or not some how I accumulated a few to many so one stays outside to hold balls and sandbox toys. this day it held leaves.

When we were little we would always sneak some of my dads clothes outside and fill them up with leaves and make a scarecrow out it them. I don't think he minded but I can't guarantee we didn't get his nice clothes sometimes.....
Well I made sure we picked out an old outfit that would work for this.

you need a few rubber bands to tie off all the openings. (arms and legs)
Then just stuff them with leaves the more the better we like our scare crows fat!
she wont take her Halloween teeth out!!

we started to run out of leaves in our yard so we went to the neighbors. hope they don't mind :P
These four keep me very busy after school! They are so full of energy and can be quite loud at times! so much so that Stella needs a break! I always lay her down in her bed. some times I am not sure if she's actually napping or just laying in her bed enjoying the quietness of her room.
I do love them very much and am thankful for the friendships Julia is making with them. They all have so much in common and I think it helps Julia to know someone that could relate to what she might be going through. I keep saying this but I can't get over how awesome God is in the ways that he brings people together. He knows just what you need and he finds a way to get that to you.
They make me smile

Kings island

With things being so busy and more busy
we hadn't had time to spend a whole day together.
I hated it.
I need family day.
The kids need family day
and finally one my husband came to me and he admitted
"We need a family day."
So I blocked a day off on the calender and made sure
NO ONE WAS ALOUD TO HAVE PLANS!
we bundled up and headed out to Kings Island!
This was the last day of the season and they were still celebrating Halloween so the whole park was decorated all spooky like.
this year I just used my camera phone instead of my big camera like last year.

I used to love riding all these rides!
I have so many great memories of coming here with my brothers and trying to get on every ride we could fit in. We each had our favorites and the ones we were scared of but with every passing year we would try to ride something new.
Now I can't even swing on the swings in my back yard with out feeling nauseous.
It makes me sad.
I miss these crazy roller coasters but I knew If I attempted it I would feel sick all day and that would just ruin it. so I stayed behind with the babies while Daddy, Uncle Josh Julia and Julia's friend buckled up

Miss Belle would run up to the gates shouting"I AM TALL ENOUGH!!" but she was not even close... sorry baby girl maybe in three years.
 We kept ourselves occupied

Then it was time to head over to the kiddie land!
I can handle some of those rides.
She laughed so hard!
I never want to forget that sound.

Stella still wasn't tall enough. but she seemed to have fun watching her sisters riding
I snapped a quick picture of my hubby and me.
he's so handsome
This is a little scary ride. you shoot monsters that jump out at you. she didn't really like it.
They wanted to play a game.
She gave Stella her prize. so sweet!
I did get on a "big ride" with Julia. OK well it technically doesn't have any hills just fast turns but it was something!
 uncle Josh pushed the stroller.

 silly girls
 we had so much fun!
