Scleroderma

 Scleroderma is a connective tissue disease that involves changes in the skin, blood vessels, muscles, and internal organs. It is a type of autoimmune disorder, a condition that occurs when the immune system mistakenly attacks and destroys healthy body tissue.

Hannah is a fun, happy, smart, beautiful 15 year old girl that lives and breathes dancing! She should be enjoying her freshman year of high school with her best friends. worrying about boys and pop quizzes. But instead she's had to leave school and concentrate on her health. Scleroderma might be taking over her body but not her spirit or personality! Hannah hosted a Dance for the cure party last weekend. all the money went to helping find a cure for this horrible disease.

 It was such an honor to meet such an inspiring person. I am so glad to have been there and captured some great moments from that night

I am holding a Valentine bourdoir photoshoot later this month

I have herd many ladies come up with excuses about why they don't think they could do it. (wieght being a major one.)

I wanted to show that I did it. 

I was terrified

I made my cousin come with me

I was sucking in my belly and trying to push out my non existant behind.

I hate my nose 

I feel like I have no chin

my hair never looks like i want it to

I always feel like I show WAY to many teeth when I smile

my hands look like old lady hands

I was uncomfortable

 and wanted to puke

then I just stopped letting those little voices in my head get to me and

 I pushed through it because I knew my husband would like them and when I am old and wrinkly it would be nice to look back at pictures of a younger me.

 I love how they turned out 

note: I think i am even more nervous to show you than I was when getting then done.

wow that was hard lol but I did it
and I can honestly say when I look at these pictures I dont think about any of those insecurities I am excited becasue I think I look HOT!
I love them and I am so proud of myself for stepping outside of the box. and this is by far my husband's favorite present I have ever gotten him.

we have rented a hotel room and are going to have hair and makeup music and fun times! I am so excited!! but hurry because there are only a few spots left!!!

yucky

Like most of you around this time of year our house has been feeling pretty yucky!

we have been lucky to not get the flu(knock on wood) 

just colds and coughs.

Stella did get a little bit of bronchitis

but thankfully she is doing much better. 

 I am wore out from the up all night crying and just uncomfortable sleeps from all the wonderful people i live with.

They seem to think that waking up mommy with somehow make them feel better. 

o-well I do love my mommy job and I can sleep when they get older right?

for now I wanted to share some super sweet pictures of me and my miss Belle playing with some 'makeup' (chap-stick)

As you all know I am a HUGE college basketball fan!

well maybe just Kentucky basketball fan :)

anyway

my girl had her very first basketball game last weekend!

I was just so excited probably more than Julia.

but come on whats better than cheering on your children?

She spent the first quarter paying very close attention to her team mates.....

 Then when it was her turn she was a rock star!

well sort of. 

it was her first game so who cares if she was guarding the blue team when she was supposed to be on offense?

 and there was one small injury

a smack in the face by the ball.

Her coach is amazing! actually the whole league is amazing they are all so supportive and really just want to make sure everyone is having fun. 

 in the end her team won, not that it matters. But it's a good reason for this momma to cheer a little louder than the other moms :)
